How to read Drum Paths
Each number in a drum path corresponds to a number of fills you should skip. For instance, the path 0-1-0 means you skip 0 fills before activating, then 1, then 0.
AI at any point in path means all immediate - it means don't skip any fills. 0-1-AI means skip 0 fills, then 1, then never skip a fill again.
You may see 'sqout' or 'sqin' in path (0sqin-1-AI). That decorator the activation means we could possibly pickup an OD phrase on the end of the activation. Sqin means include that phrase ('Squeeze in') and sqout means don't include it ('Squeeze out').

How to read Guitar/Bass Paths
Let's take some activation: 2-4GR (+1)
2-2GR (+1): This means collect 2 OD phrases before activating. Regular and Unison phrases each count as 1.
2-4GR (+1): This means after collecting the OD, activate on the 4GR note that you see.
2-4GR (+1): This means you will pick up 1 OD phrase during this activation. Lots of paths decide to drop this part of the notation.
Frequently you will see more descriptive things than simply '4GR' (or other number-note combinations).
NN=Next Note, 3N=Third Note
2O sus=Second orange sustain
OD=Start of next OD Phrase
Using a path on g/b is much easier when deploying with the back button, as opposed to tilting the guitar.
